The pianist is the one and only Jeff Stice. Mr. Piano Man himself. He was quite a silly pianist in his youth. Now he’s playing with Rex and Kelly and Amber.

Burl strevel passed at 53. He's gone but never never never forgotten. Burl strevel is the greatest bass singer that has ever lived.
Perfect. An extremely rare documentary of the fabulous smooth blue ridge quartet. Excellent. I just only wish the late great burl strevel was in it. Burl passed of Cancer in 1981. Laverne tripp and his wife Edith and thier two boys Terry and robb were in Riverside California for tbn tapeings. Other then that fantastic. This is as close as we are going to get touching the blue ridge quartet.

@@JakesMuzik thank you Jakes. Burl strevel is my number one all time bass singer with the fabulous smooth blue ridge quartet. I didn't know the great Burl strevel went that way. I have Laverne's Tripp book he made in 1990. Only one that I know of. Laverne could have done more books about his life. I wouldn't know. Burl was 53. Noel Fox of the oak ridge boys was my second favorite. I believe Noel died in 1998 at age 57 of cancer. Other notable bass singers are billy Todd the Florida boys quartet. Buddy likes. Same the Florida boys. I spoken with buddy about Marvin Norcross of Canaan records. Word incorporated. Marvin died of a premature heart attack at age 51. Marvin was Canaan records. John Gresham of the thrasher brothers was awesome. Ellis moose hill. Same the thrasher brothers. Mike Holcomb the inspirations. More bass singers too. Thank you for letting me know the real reason Burl passed. The blue ridge quartet is my favorite number one quartet of all time.
